Snapmuse Studio is a video editor with a licensed music library: edit your video, add catalog music, and publish with a Studio Pro licence.
Your first video in 5 steps
1
Discover the musicBrowse by genre and mood on the home screen, and listen. Preview the best 30 seconds of any track as often as you like; full plays are 10 per week on Free.
2
Start a projectFrom the Studio tab, pick videos and photos from your phone — as many clips as you like, in any order. You can change the aspect ratio (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) any time.
3
EditTrim and arrange clips on the timeline, drop transitions between them. Add text and stickers with animations; record a voiceover in your own voice — noise filtering is available while recording, and your speech turns into auto-captions with one tap.
4
Add your musicPick a track from the catalog (Pro) or import your own music from your phone (everyone). Music automatically ducks under speech, and you can shape the fade in and out.
5
Export and shareChoose your resolution, export, and share to TikTok, Reels, anywhere. If you used catalog music, your license certificate comes with it.

How the music works
How Content ID Shield works
Catalog music is licensed in videos you export with Studio Pro. If a Content ID claim appears on a connected channel, we coordinate its release with our partner label; timing depends on the platform and label and is usually within 48 hours. Your licence certificate records your use in the app; we cannot guarantee that claims never occur or that a dispute succeeds.
Listening is open to everyone
Browse and listen to the entire catalog. Previews are unlimited; full plays are 10 per week on Free (they reset every Monday), unlimited on Pro.
Putting it in your video is what Pro is for
Adding a catalog track to your video and exporting it takes Studio Pro. In return, your video ships with a license certificate — your official proof if a copyright claim ever hits your channel.
Your own music is always free to use
Importing an MP3, a voice memo, or your own composition from your phone is open to everyone (up to 50 MB / 10 minutes per file). One note: the rights to files you upload are your responsibility — our copyright guarantee covers catalog music.

It's a PDF proving the track is legally licensed for that video. If YouTube or Instagram raises a claim, this document helps prove your licensed use; resolution timing and outcome depend on the platform.
Why is there a mark on Free exports?
It's the price of the free plan: a small "Made with Snapmuse Studio" in the corner of your video. Pro has none.
Where do my projects live?
On your device. Close a project and pick it up later exactly where you left it — every cut and every caption is kept.
How do music channels work?
Free has a single music track; the "add channel" button is visible but Pro-locked. On Pro you can add as many channels as you like — say, main music plus an ambience layer. Each channel has its own volume, trim, and fades, all layered together in the export. Removing an existing channel is free for everyone.
Is there an instrumental version of the songs?
Yes — many vocal tracks also have an instrumental (no-vocals) version; switch with the toggle on the track screen.
