What is Snapmuse?

Snapmuse is a curated music library for content creators: Snapmuse holds the commercial rights to the tracks in its catalog. That is why each one comes with a real licence for commercial use on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, podcasts, ads, and any other platform you publish to — under the licence attached to Studio Pro exports. Automated platform claims may still occur.

What does the licence cover?

It means once you're subscribed, every track in our library is licensed for use in your content — no additional fees or hidden licensing. If a platform's automated system ever flags Snapmuse music on your upload, our Content ID Shield works to clear it for you, usually within about 48 hours. Platforms run their own detection systems, so we can't control every flag, but the license behind your use is solid.

Can I monetize videos that use Snapmuse tracks?

Yes. Our licenses allow monetization on YouTube, Twitch, social platforms, and client projects (with Studio Pro). If an automated Content ID system flags our music, our Shield works to clear the claim — usually within about 48 hours — resolution timing depends on the label and platform. This covers claims arising from Snapmuse catalog music; we can't guarantee how third-party platforms behave, but the licensing is fully on your side.

Is there more than one plan?

On iPhone there's a single subscription — Studio Pro — available monthly or annually (the annual plan starts with a free trial). It covers the full music catalog, the editor, clean exports, and Content ID Shield, with no per-video caps. Commercial use is included.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage your subscription from the App Store in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. No long-term commitment. Tracks you've already saved remain accessible while you're subscribed.

Do I need to credit Snapmuse or the artists?

Attribution is not required but always appreciated. A simple "Music by Snapmuse" in your description helps spread the word and supports the artists we work with.

Are there vocal songs or just instrumental?

Both. You can filter by vocal or instrumental in each track. Most tracks are instrumental — great for background scoring — but we have vocal tracks for creators who want something with lyrics.

What formats can I use?

Inside the app you listen to high-quality streams, and track details (BPM, duration, genre, mood) are visible everywhere so you can find the right vibe fast. Tracks are not downloaded as separate audio files: the music leaves the app inside the video you export, and that video's licence certificate is in Export history.

Can I edit videos in Snapmuse Studio?
